Azzurri is very proud to be regularly recognised as a industry leader across many different areas of our business. Below are some of our recent awards and accolades:

WINNER: SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR

Computer Weekly European User Awards for Networking 2013

Why did we win? According to the judges, Azzurri demonstrated a breadth and depth of supplier offerings that delivered solutions explaining the benefits achieved, from migrating inefficient legacy networking to newer IP technologies. In addition it showed how the company engages with its customers to provide networking solutions focused on business demands.

WINNER: BEST CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

HR Distinction Awards 2013

Why did we win? The award recognised the HR team who has played a pivotal role in managing and implementing organisational transformation. The category was judged on merit in the planning, execution and performance results from large scale change programmes. Azzurri held off strong competition from the Olympic Delivery Authority, News International and HM Revenue and Customs to win this award.

HIGHLY COMMENDED: PUBLIC SECTOR EXCELLENCE AWARD

Comms National Awards 2012

Why did we win? Azzurri’s Public Sector solution was specifically developed to reflect the challenges this market faces. The solution provided a number of Public Sector organisations with the ability to consolidate, integrate and then proactively manage multiple telecoms and network suppliers through one centralised, cost-effective and flexible contract.

WINNER: BEST MARKETING CAMPAIGN/BEST SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

Comms Dealer Sales Awards 2012

Why did we win? Azzurri’s Marketing and Communications team devised an innovative and creative strategy to raise awareness of Azzurri’s Healthcare market proposition. It supported and delivered significant sales uplift whilst also proving that social media can deliver ROI for B2B firms.

WINNER: ENTERPRISE HOSTED SOLUTION OF THE YEAR
Comms National Awards 2011

Why did we win? Azzurri successfully consolidated facilities management firm OCS’s numerous services from multiple network connectivity providers into a single managed service contract for their 30,000 employees. Azzurri then took over the fixed line telephony and broadband provision, and added a hosted VoIP service. All delivered on time, on budget. The new contract provides OCS with year on year savings of over 30%.

BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards 2011

Why did we win? The managed service provided by Azzurri allowed University College London Hospital to experience a successful upgrade and unification of all data, voice and mobile telecommunications infrastructure without requiring any capital expenditure.

As well as being a pioneering contract, the solution encompassed two major sector firsts: the first private mobile network in the NHS and the first full Blackberry integration in a hospital (for voice and data).

European IT Excellence Awards 2011

The Sunday Times Top Track 250 2011

Azzurri made an inaugural appearance in the annual Top Track 250 league table supplement, published in The Sunday Times in October 2010.

The league table ranks the UK’s 250 biggest private companies (below the Top Track 100), provided either sales or operating profits increased in their latest available accounts. Sales ranged from £138m to £590m.

Azzurri was noted for providing ‘IT solutions and managed services such as voice, data, consultancy, networking, print and mobile’ and for serving 25% of FTSE100 companies.
