17th June 2013: Aon, the UK’s largest insurance broker and provider of risk management services, has chosen Azzurri’s Intelligent Telecoms Expense Management (ITEM) to centralise the management of its multiple telecoms suppliers and consolidate multiple billing feeds from its different providers into one centralised reporting tool. With Azzurri managing the supplier relationships, Aon is free to focus on its core business.

11th June 2013: Azzurri Communications’ enterprise mobility implementation for UCLH has won global industry analyst firm Ovum’s award for BYOD excellence in the Public Sector.

15th May 2013: The Department for Transport, following a competitive tender through the PSN Services framework, has awarded Azzurri Communications, the UK’s leading independent provider of managed communications services, a five year contract worth £1m for an IP telephony deployment.

30th April 2013: Cintas Document Management UK Ltd has awarded Azzurri Communications a five year contract worth £1.1m for a new wide area network (WAN) and managed security services, covering Cintas’s 10 UK sites. Azzurri’s ICON (Intelligent Cloud Optimised Network) will form the network backbone, augmented by a secure online management portal for use by Cintas’s IT team.

10th April 2013: Severn Trent Water has chosen Azzurri as their strategic enterprise telecoms partner, awarding them a multi-million pound contract for a managed communications service, incorporating a 1,000 seat contact centre implementation and an enterprise mobility roll-out for 5,000 users.

5th March 2013: Biffa Waste Services Ltd, the leading UK waste management company, has chosen Azzurri Communications to provide a ground-breaking unified communications contract. Azzurri is consolidating all of Biffa’s communications services into one fully managed service, significantly reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) over the three year contract term.

27th February 2013: Azzurri Communications has been named as Supplier of the Year at the Computer Weekly European User Awards for Networking. The awards recognise innovation in network design, implementation and use of application to improve user business.

8th February 2013: South Lanarkshire Council, one of the 32 unitary council areas of Scotland, has awarded a £3.25m, five year Telecoms Expense Management (TEM) contract to Azzurri Communications.

28th January 2013: Azzurri Communications, the UK’s leading independent managed communications services provider, has won the Distinction in Change Management Award at the 2013 HR Distinction Awards, ahead of strong competition from the Olympic Delivery Authority, News International and HM Revenue and Customs.
