Board of Directors

Chris Jagusz, CEO

Chris Jagusz, CEOA lifelong business-to-business services professional, Chris joined Azzurri as Chief Executive in September 2014. He has led network operator SSE Telecoms, SME market specialist Eurotel, managed the integration of multiple acquisitions with Daisy Group and led the retail business there, and acted as an industry consultant on cross-selling, market strategy, acquisitions and data centre builds.

Chris’s early career was with BT, where he sold into the global banking sector, before running a service operation in Germany, managing a joint venture investment in Switzerland and consolidating multiple networks across Europe. After running BT’s wholesale voice portfolio, Chris moved to Openreach where he set up the sales and product management operations.

An engineer by training, Chris has a masters degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Leeds University and an MBA from Manchester University.

Steve Andrews, Chairman

Steve Andrews, ChairmanSteve Andrews joined Azzurri as Chairman in November 2013.

Steve's career spans over 25 years with BT plc, where his roles included creating and managing BT's joint ventures throughout Europe, and as Managing Director responsible for BT's Mobility business and for BT UK’s Retail Strategy, Products and Services.

In the past five years, Steve has been an independent consultant and an investor in the TMT Sector, advising major corporations as well as young start-up companies. He is also Chairman of a global forum of Telcos focusing on driving innovation.

Nigel Guy, Non-executive Director

Nigel Guy, Non-executive DirectorNigel was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in December 2011. His career has seen him hold senior positions with private equity firms including 3i and Baird Capital Partners Europe. This background has led to Nigel becoming a trusted and effective Non-Executive Director or Chairman for a number of firms, including companies engaged, like Azzurri, in business and professional services.

Andrew Marshall, Chief Financial Officer

Andrew Marshall, Chief Financial OfficerAndrew joined Azzurri in January 2013 and is responsible for financial strategy, financial planning, reporting and investor relations.  

He is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in the telecoms industry, beginning his career with Cable and Wireless where he performed a number of roles, including Finance Director for the Wholesale division and CFO for Thus. He was also involved extensively in M&A and transformation projects.

Andrew also has a wide international experience, having worked for Schlumberger in the USA and in Indonesia where he was CFO Asia for the IT Managed Services business. His experience also covers the telecom equipment and managed services business gained whilst at Nokia Siemens Networks. He holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Liverpool.
