Risk management and legal compliance

Risk management and legal compliance

Unless you are 100% within the law, you are 100% outside it.

All organisations have to manage risks and ensure that they comply with relevant legislation and regulation. From data protection, to cyber security, taking credit card payments to simply treating customers fairly – you need to make sure you’ve covered.

Giving you a safety net.

We have the tools, knowledge and expertise to help you make sure you’re complying with the necessary standards and are avoiding all unnecessary risk.

Effective risk management is about understanding both the likelihood and the likely consequence of anything going wrong.

When we provide a managed communications service, we are taking on your risk for you – whether that is the commercial or the technical risk. We are rightly known for taking on technically challenging and complex projects for our customers, and our approach to understanding and helping to mitigate against these risks is what has made us successful. We make sure we fully understand what might happen, and what we can do about it, before it goes wrong – so that you don’t have to.

Highly accredited.

Our service delivery processes and methodology are based firmly in ITIL guidelines, so you can be sure that continuous improvement is built in to what we do.

Our project implementation approach is based on PRINCE2, so you know that we’ll deliver what you need, when you need it. And our business is accredited to various ISO standards, including ISO90001 (Quality Management) and ISO270001 (Security), so you know you are dealing with a mature, capable organisation that is going to safeguard your interests, and your customers information.

We also hold a number of relevent accreditations – we are one of the few UK organisations to hold the coveted UK Government Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.

A focus on quality and security.

We ensure that our supply chain is held to the same high standards that we hold ourselves to – from ensuring that all foreign-based partners are members of Safe Harbour schemes, to ensuring a common approach to Health and Safety and Anti-Bribery and Corruption. All of our engineers are given a background check for criminal records when they join as a matter of course.
