Research: How enterprise communications will change in 2016
This research paper shows the levels of current investment and use of collaboration and communications tools in UK enterprises, and how these will change in the imminent future.
How will enterprise communications change over the coming year? Azzurri Communications partnered with market research agency, Redshift Research, and collated responses from over 150 IT decision-maker respondents and 1000 employees in the UK to find out what will happen in 2016.
Is enterprise communications on the brink of immediate and substantial change?
Enterprises across all industries are recognising that competitive markets are best combatted by improved productivity. This inevitably, as with most major tactical shifts, puts the emphasis on the IT department to provide the necessary tools to enable the change.
But this is not simply a decision of technology procurement. It is far more strategic than that. Azzurri Communications has therefore isolated the most crucial elements of the corporate communications estate and Digital Workplace:
- Mobility (devices and their management)
- Telephony and UC (and where you host it)
- Collaboration tools
We’ve examined the current investment choices, motivations, intentions to change and future investment levels. Simultaneously, we have looked at whether these decisions and plans match with what employees want to see, and also compared the findings to what is going on in the SME world.
The survey results highlighted some fascinating changes on the horizon within the enterprise communications landscape.
